Who we are
Waste Logics designs, builds and runs digital products. We are a product company, not an agency: the 6 products in our portfolio are our own, and the same company is responsible for each of them from the first sketch through to the support reply years later.
The portfolio spans unrelated domains — payments, invoicing, commerce, waste operations, gifting and personal finance. That is deliberate rather than accidental. Each product starts from an operation people already carry out, usually awkwardly, and the job is to make that specific work easier without pretending the surrounding reality is simpler than it is.
What the products share is the company behind them: one team, applying the same standards of system design, record-keeping and long-run maintainability to each. What we learn running a payments product tends to end up improving an invoicing one.

How we work
Operating principles
Own the whole thing
We build our own products rather than delivering projects for other people. That means we live with every decision — the design, the code, the infrastructure and the support queue.
Start from the work
Each product begins with an operation that already happens: invoicing a customer, taking a payment, taking an order over chat, arranging a collection. The software has to fit that, not the other way round.
Design before building
States, boundaries and failure cases are decided deliberately and early. Most of the cost of software arrives after launch, and that is where careless design gets paid for.
Keep the record
Where a product touches money, compliance or an obligation between two parties, it writes durable records as work happens — because eventually somebody has to establish what actually occurred.
Build for the long run
We run what we ship. Systems are built so a small team can keep them healthy for years.
